MIT College of Railway Engineering and Research (MIT CORER), Barshi.
With a rich legacy of 35 years, MAEER’s, Pune has established the first of its kind College of Railway Engineering and Research in India, in Barshi, Dist. Solapur, from the academic year 2017-18, as approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.
The College is committed to impart high quality education and conduct research in various fields of engineering and technology with Railway Engineering as the main focus. Excellent infrastructure, most modern laboratories, rich library, well qualified and experienced faculty and staff are the major strengths of the College.
The main thrust of the College will be its endeavour to provide value-based universal education to students so as to make them, apart from being competent engineers, conscientious and socially oriented citizens and human beings, who are globally competent and compatible. The College will have strong and close linkages with the industry, research organizations and reputed institutes and will have sustainable collaborations with the leading universities and institutes abroad.
