Heartiest Greetings from the team of MIT College of Railway Engineering and Research (MITCORER), Barshi. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce us as the only engineering institute in India offering Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) in Railway Engineering. With the vision of the Founder and Executive President of MAEER, Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, MITCORER has launched the first-of-its-kind engineering institute in India, which offers a promising career in the field of railway and high speed transportation systems, based on artificial intelligence. Courses and value-added trainings in these unique areas are available throughout the world and offer promising career over and above other branches of engineering. In India, railways being the biggest employer in the country with its vast network and with the vision of Bullet Train and futuristic Hyper Loop mode of transportation, the degree of B.E. in Railway Engineering will get increased attention. The sector needs qualified and skilled manpower to deliver with expertize and render services in India and abroad. To support the curriculum of Railway Engineering, MITCORER has offered four other engineering branches, viz. Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science and Electronics and Telecommunication, as an inter-disciplinary approach to serve the railway sector. Aspiring students can have dual advantage of employment in railway or other sectors like infrastructure, construction, machinery, chemical, IT, satellite and radio technologies, mobile computing, automobile and many more. With the upcoming Railway University in India, MITCORER shall have an extra advantage over other engineering institutions to offer expertize and consultancy services in the 21st century futuristic engineering and technology to support high speed transportation systems to be a part of the Smart Cities initiative. We are taking forward the legacy of MIT Group of Institutions with the unique project called MITCORER. I welcome the aspiring candidates to pursue engineering career at a premier institute like MITCORER. I wish them all the best.
