Welcome to MAEER`s MIT Group of Institutions and particularly MIT College of Railway Engineering & Research (MITCORER).
The real progress and development of a nation depends upon good transportation infrastructure, which serves as a catalyst for economic growth. Roads and railways play an important role towards this end. With the government focusing on bringing the hitherto remote areas on the railway map of India and on phenomenal upgradation like dedicated freight corridors and bullet trains in the existing regions, there is a rising demand for trained engineering professionals who can cater to this segment.
Railway Engineering, as such, is a multi-faceted, yet specialized discipline, dealing with the design, construction, production and operation of all types of railway systems, including the high-end options that bring immense savings in time and energy. It encompasses study of a wide range of other engineering disciplines including civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunications, computer, industrial and production engineering. It covers many other sub-disciplines of engineering and management as well. MITCORER will focus on creating a quality learning habitat through learning processes driven by innovative ideas in pedagogy and projects across all these domains.
Keeping in mind this projected infrastructure growth in the Indian economy and the need for a specialized work of trained and customized engineers capable of dealing with the rail industry and allied manufacturing sectors, we conceived the idea of establishing MITCORER. This is truly an exciting time to be in professional education.
As we embark on this unique journey, I am confident that we will succeed in grooming our students to become capable citizens of the 21st century who not only possess the ability of critical thinking in their chosen area, but also the motivation to keep learning for the rest of their lives. We value the individual qualities that each student brings to the classroom. Students from all parts of Maharashtra and other states of India are a part of MIT family, whether in schools or professional programs. Their diverse cultural backgrounds and learning styles, make an ideal setting for young minds to grow holistically. And as Arthur Ashe (American tennis player) says, “You are never really playing an opponent. You are playing yourself, your own highest standards, and when you reach your limits, that is real joy.”
MIT Group institutes provide personalized guidance to all students and ensure sound exposure to the latest practices in the industry. Our curricula brings the global perspective in learning, even while being rooted in Indian values. The richness of our seamless academic programs encourage students to connect separate elements of knowledge to form a coherent perspective of the whole, thus producing insightful, creative and analytical thinkers. We endeavor to ensure they have a better understanding of not just themselves, but also of the world in which they live.
As said by G C Lichtenberg (German scientist and satirist), “I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is that they must change if they are to get better.”
We once again welcome the student fraternity to this unique program at MIT Group, which will help them bring about the desired change in their professional life as well as their personality.
With a lots of Best Wishes..
