The Central Library is the soul of the institution and it acquires, processes, preserves and disseminates information to the user community with the motto of empowering knowledge. It has an extensive collection of books, scientific and technical journals and electronic reference materials for satisfying the academic and research needs of the students and faculty. The Library and Information Centre consists a Reference Section, Circulation Section, Periodical Section, and Digital Library. The library has automated all its library activities to provide effective and wide range of academic resources such as books, journals, online databases.

The library also provides Network Resource Sharing and Inter Library Loan (ILL) services through National and International Consortium by adopting the latest information technology techniques. Library automation is done with Koha Library management software database and the web OPAC is available for the user. The issue and return of books has been activated with the Koha Library Management Software. Adjoining to the library there is a reading hall where the students can read their personal books.
