The Civil Engineering Department offers the following testing and consultancy services:
1.Material Testing :Evaluating the quality and properties of construction materials like cement, aggregates, steel, and more.
2.Water Testing :Analyzing water quality for construction or drinking purposes to ensure it meets required standards.
3.Soil Testing :Assessing soil properties, including bearing capacity, moisture content, and compaction characteristics, to aid in foundation design.
4.Concrete Mix Design :Developing customized concrete mixes to achieve desired strength and workability.
5.Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) : Testing existing structures without causing damage, using methods like ultrasonic testing, rebound hammer, and others.
6.Structural Audit :Assessing the health and safety of existing structures to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or reinforcements.
7.Proof Checking :Reviewing structural designs and calculations for compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements.
